ABC STEM High School
“They don't believe girls can be engineers, let’s prove them wrong.”
The ABC STEM High School is the first and most innovative secondary school in Malawi. It is a model school for what is needed in every country in Africa.
Why ABC STEM?
In Malawi, 24% of males obtain school education. Only 15% of girls receive a high school education, and even fewer go on to college. This is a major problem, as STEM careers are some of the most in-demand and highest-paying jobs in the world.
Our school will offer a rigorous STEM education that will prepare students for college and successful careers. The school will offer classes in math, science, robotics, and other STEM subjects. It will also have a strong focus on entrepreneurship and leadership
Key to Africa's Future
At ABC STEM High School, we believe that STEM education is the key to a better future for Malawi and Africa. We are committed to providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in STEM fields and to make a difference in the world.
Prayer Requests for ABC STEM High School
We are praying for the following needs: A headmaster, equipment, furnishings, and curriculum. Pray that the school will be a success and that it will help to change the lives of future changemakers in Malawi.
Dr. Paul Chinchen
ABC STEM High School: A Legacy of Innovation
The ABC STEM High School was dreamed up by the late Dr. Paul Chinchen. He believed that STEM education is the key to a better future for Malawi. His vision was to create a school that provided students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in STEM fields and make a difference in the world.
Dr. Chinchen believed that when you give a person an education in Malawi, it does not just change that person, it impacts their whole village and community. It changes their family's future.
Help us write history by supporting Malawi's first STEM High School.
We believe that STEM education is not just about today. It is about tomorrow, and the next 100 years.
Support Malawi's Future
We have raised the funds to build the school building, but we now need your help with phase two of this project. We need to furnish the school with science lab equipment, robotic resources, and other materials. Your gift will help us to create a world-class STEM education for students in Malawi. It will also help us change the lives of students and their families.
