Why ABC STEM?
The Problem
In Malawi, 24% of males obtain school education. Only 15% of girls receive a high school education, and even fewer go on to college. This is a major problem, as STEM careers are some of the most in-demand and highest-paying jobs in the world.
The Solution
Our school will offer a rigorous STEM education that will prepare students for college and successful careers. The school will offer classes in math, science, robotics, and other STEM subjects. It will also have a strong focus on entrepreneurship and leadership

ABC STEM High School: A Legacy of Innovation
The ABC STEM High School was dreamed up by the late Dr. Paul Chinchen. He believed that STEM education is the key to a better future for Malawi. His vision was to create a school that provided students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in STEM fields and make a difference in the world.
Dr. Chinchen believed that when you give a person an education in Malawi, it does not just change that person, it impacts their whole village and community. It changes their family's future.
